The Blues

This series of four self-portraits and one portrait explores the multiple dimensions of female identity, addressing both imposed expectations and moments of reflection and resistance to the norm. Through four images that navigate between the intimate and the socially constructive, the artist invites us to look at the complexities of what it means to be a woman, the tension between idealized beauty and personal authenticity. 

“The Blues”, is a representation of loneliness and vulnerability. The blue cloth covering the artist's body suggests both protection and concealment, in a reflection on the emotional fragility that often  hides behind a controlled and constructed image as well as an invitation to believe in a personal and individual universe full of inner richness.
