ARTIST

Crypsybear

Crypsybear (Nordenham, 1979) is a German pop-art artist whose work challenges conventions and embraces “a different kind of art”. Drawing early inspiration from Beeple and Banksy, he began his creative journey by merging digital and physical media. He is a self-taught artist with a diploma in computer science that blends digital sketching with hands-on techniques to bring his vision to life on paper and canvas. Cryspybear's work spans pop art, surrealism, collage, and street art. Refusing to be confined to one method, he constantly experiments, driven by a passion for boundary pushing expression. French pop artist Rudy Meyer (“Pop Art Daddy”) has been a key mentor in his journey. He is also connected with digital art pioneer Beeple (Mike Winkelmann). Crypsybear has exhibited in over 30 exhibitions across four continents, including a solo show in Oldenburg, and group exhibitions at Beeple Studios (Charleston, USA) and Brooklyn Art Cave (New York).
