Doumorh El-Riz (Minieh,1989) is a Lebanese-German artist and spatial interaction designer based in Northern Germany. Her practice links cultures with media and shifting states of self. Drawing from a decade of experience designing immersive physical and digital environments, her work explores the fluid boundaries of identity. Each piece begins with an emotional impulse, such as longing or transformation, processed through generative AI and translated into physical form. She hand-tufts designs into textile works using wool, silk, and cotton, incorporating tinted mirrors that engage viewers directly. The reflective surfaces question where one identity ends and another begins, drawing audiences into contemplative engagement. Her bicultural upbringing informs an artistic language bridging digital speculation with material intimacy. Her work was featured in Hamburg's group exhibition Salon der Gegenwart in 2024, alongside Simon Fujiwara, Rebecca Horn, and David Schnell.
