Anastasia Stročkova (Czechia, 1988) is an illustrator based in Berlin who collaborates with prominent publishers alongside magazines and graphic studios. She studied at the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague and participated in the Erasmus program at Halle Burg University under Georg Barber (Atak). Her debut book "The Elephant Who Was Afraid of Heights" was selected at the Bologna Children's Book Fair, launching a successful career in children's literature. Her latest title, Unforgettable Events, won at Bologna Ragazzi Amazing Bookshelf while being nominated for the Golden Ribbon Award, and has been translated into four languages. Strockova creates stories for children aged six and older, filled with humor paired with kindness and action, while also producing conceptual illustrations for science laboratories alongside packaging design and cultural festivals. Her distinctive visual style sets trends in both communication design and illustration.
