Vanessa Ruckh (Stuttgart, 1997) is a photographer and visual artist based in Berlin, whose work delves into the exploration of subcultures alongside marginalized communities while examining themes of social exclusion and discrimination. Deeply fascinated by photography's inherent claim to truth, Vanessa uses the medium not only to document but to create spaces for reflection and dialogue. As a graduate of the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart (ABK Stuttgart) in 2024, Vanessa is currently supported by the Landesgraduiertenstipendium Baden-Württemberg. Drawn by Berlin's vibrant cultural scene paired with its politically charged atmosphere, she relocated to the city to deepen the social and artistic context of her work. Now working as a freelance artist and photographer, she remains dedicated to illuminating voices and perspectives often overlooked.
