JULEZ (Colombia,1982) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice blends sculpture with visual art and urban storytelling. With a background as an art director and graphic designer, he reimagines anatomical forms through a bold, playful lens that fuses folklore with subculture and personal experience. His work explores identity alongside resilience while examining the shifting roles we inhabit across both, literal and symbolic, borders. With roots in Latin America and based in Germany since 2020, JULEZ has exhibited across Latin America and Europe, collaborating with street art collectives and cultural figures. Having moved between cities and countries, he views art as a mobile home. A space for belonging without fixed identity. His work explores cultural hybridity through the lens of identity and resilience, echoing the personalities and tensions of everyday life.
