Portrait of Artist Christoph Florin at Notagallery in Berlin-Kreuzberg

ARTIST

Christoph Florin

The artist duo Christoph Florin (fka. Low Bros) consists of brothers Florin and Christoph Schmidt (Hamburg, b. 1982, 1984). Their work explores the intersection of contemporary society with ecological and consumer-driven narratives through objects and abstract forms. With backgrounds in public art and academia, they create imagined realms offering immersive encounters for viewers. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern tools such as vector software and stencil vinyls, their process blends acrylic painting and airbrush with technological precision. Drawing from social theory, political discourse, and collective memory, they have developed a distinctive style bridging analog and digital techniques. The duo studied at the University of Applied Sciences (HAW) Hamburg and Berlin University of the Arts (UDK). Their work has been shown in solo exhibitions at Mirus Gallery (Denver & San Francisco), Stolenspace Gallery (London), and in group shows at Urban Nation Museum, Honolulu Museum of Art, Context Miami, and Urban Art Fair Paris.
