ARTIST

Daria Danilova

Daria Danilova (Moscow, 1995) is a Berlin-based photographer who began her practice in 2019 with the Archive Series: a Polaroid exploration of memory, death, and material significance through subjective photography that prioritizes the act of capture over narrative. This foundational project established the conceptual foundation for her ongoing creative work. Working across digital and instant photography, Danilova has exhibited in Moscow, London, Tokyo, and Milan. Her achievements include winning the New-Post Photography Award at MIA PhotoFair Art in Milan (2022) for Expired Landscapes, placing third at Münzenberg Forum Berlin in 2023 for "I Don't Live Anywhere Right Now", and being shortlisted for The Gilchrist-Fisher Award (2024) for Expired Landscapes. Her work is represented in private collections across Moscow, Milan, and London.
