Ruba Adwan (Damascus, 1990) is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist, educator, and art therapy practitioner specializing in sculpture, psychosocial support, and cultural programming. She holds an MA in Sculpture from Damascus University, where she also taught sculpting and developed curricula centered on experimental, student-led practice. Her work bridges visual arts with social care, drawing on over a decade of experience working with displaced communities through trauma-sensitive, arts-based methods. Since relocating to Berlin, she has contributed to several inclusion-focused projects throughout the city. Her current practice explores emotional memory while examining personal geography and disrupted belonging through layered, material-driven compositions. In addition to her studio practice, she provides creative consultation and support to emerging artists navigating the complexities of migration and displacement.
