Reliquary of Fields – Guardian of Thorns (Thistle / Cardo)

Installed within a confined room, barely two by two meters, this triptych transforms the space into an intimate chamber of offerings. Three aluminium panels, each bearing the imprints of force and the ritual insertion of plants, stand against three walls. A soft, dim light from the unoccupied wall casts shifting reflections, allowing the works to breathe in silence. Together, they invoke the memory of fields, crystallised in metal and shadow.

Guardian of Thorns (Thistle / Cardo):
The sharp presence of thistle emerges as a figure of resistance, its spines transcribed into the reflective plane, a reminder of protection through adversity.
