My Funny Valentine explores the impossibility of connection in a homogenized, narcissistic world. Inspired by Byung-Chul Han’s The Agony of Eros, it questions what happens when the Other disappears. When everyone becomes a mirror of the self. The work critiques digital culture, self-optimization, and emotional flattening, challenging viewers to reflect on the loss of authentic relational experience in contemporary society.
