Max Grote, a Berlin based artist, takes great pleasure in playing chess- that’s why he depicts it. Since the age of 5 he has been playing that game and in his way Max wants to explore his obsession with the game of chess and what it means to him personally. For most part he works with oil paint, clay and 3D Print in his studies at Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee.
