2023 | Textile printing Blockout Thermosublimation | 275 x 275 cm | The hundred different portraits show, in chronological order, the development from the newborn infant to the 100-year-old. They show how the traces of life and our experiences are expressed in our faces. Laughter lines testify to joyful events, a gray curl adorns the forehead, the hair at the base has perhaps already sought the distance. The men and women portrayed, many living in Germany, have the most diverse backgrounds and come from the most diverse parts of the world. This illustrated book is an honest cross-section of our society today.
